No. Water is heavy to post and easy to store at home. Keep 3 litres per person per day next to the bag: 9 litres each covers 72 hours.
The food ration lasts 5 years and the first aid kit 3 to 5 years. Protein bars last about a year, and we send a refill before they expire. The earliest expiry date is printed on the bag, and we remind you before it arrives.
You can. First72 saves the time and the guesswork. Every item is listed with its quantity, the power bank is Anker, the first aid kit is a sealed BS 8599-1 British Standard kit made in the UK, the earliest expiry date is on the outside, and every kit is packed by hand.
Somewhere cool, dry and easy to reach, such as a hallway or under-stairs cupboard, with your water beside it. Make sure everyone at home knows where it is.
A card you fill in before you need it: key contacts, a meeting point and a medication list. Fill it in the day your kit arrives and keep it in the bag with the 72-hour guide. If something happens, start there.

Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind. Opening the bag is fine. Sealed food, the sealed first aid kit and opened hand warmers can't be returned once their seal is broken; everything else can.
