Returns and cancellation

14 days to change your mind

You can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you (or someone you nominate) receive your kit. If you ordered more than one kit and they arrive on different days, the 14 days runs from the day you receive the last one.

To cancel, tell us clearly before the 14 days are up: email us, or use the model cancellation form below. You do not have to give a reason.

Items that cannot be returned once opened

For health protection and hygiene reasons, the right to cancel does not apply to the following items once their seal has been broken after delivery (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 28(3)(a)):

• Sealed food: the emergency ration and protein bars
• The sealed first aid kit
• Hand warmers, once their outer packet is opened

Opening the bag itself does not stop you from returning the kit. You can still cancel and return any other items, and any sealed items that are still sealed.

Sending the kit back

Please send the kit back to [trading / returns address] within 14 days of telling us you want to cancel. Return postage is at your cost, unless the kit is faulty or we sent the wrong item.

The kit contains lithium batteries (in the power bank and the radio). Please send it by a road-based tracked service that accepts lithium batteries in equipment, keep proof of postage, and pack it securely.

Your refund

We refund the price you paid, including the original standard delivery charge, within 14 days of receiving the kit back or of receiving proof that you have sent it, whichever is earlier. We refund to your original payment method and do not charge a fee.

You may handle the items as you would in a shop to check them. We may reduce your refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond that, and by opened items that are excluded above.

Faulty or wrong items

If your kit is faulty or not as described, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in addition to the right to cancel (see our terms of sale, section 7). We pay reasonable return costs for faulty or incorrect items.
